You may have seen this circulating the internet today. It showed up in my news feed this morning, and the title naturally caught my attention. When I viewed this video, (it will only take about 3 minutes of your day), it had well over a million views!

To me, that’s exciting! His message is uplifting, it is a message of hope, and he encourages others to try and understand those suffering with mental depression and suicidal thoughts. I hid for so long with how dark and depressed I was, and that only added to my pain. I refused to talk about my overdose for several years because of the shame that society puts on us for how we feel, and how we chose to deal with that pain. Maybe you cannot understand how it feels to be in a dark place, and for that I am happy for you! Truly happy! Please do not judge others who think and feel differently than you! Is it so hard to love and accept one another?
We are encouraged by God to love one another, as He loves us.
